As Jehovah thy God liveth, there is no nation or kingdom, whither my lord hath not sent to seek thee: and when they said, He is not here, he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they found thee not.


And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being such as I, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in.


Though a host should encamp against me,\par\tab My heart shall not fear:\par\tab Though war should rise against me,\par\tab Even then will I be confident.


I will not be afraid of ten thousands of the people\par\tab That have set themselves against me round about.


The wicked flee when no man pursueth;\par\tab But the righteous are bold as a lion.


From that time began Jesus to show unto his disciples, that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.


{\cf6 Ye know that after two days the passover cometh, and the Son of man is delivered up to be crucified.}


and as they were eating, he said, {\cf6 Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.}


Then saith Jesus unto them, {\cf6 All ye shall be offended in me this night: for it is written, {\b I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.}


And he said unto them, {\cf6 These are my words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must needs be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and the prophets, and the psalms, concerning me.}


Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto his Father, having loved his own that were in the world, he loved them unto the end.


For he knew him that should betray him; therefore said he, {\cf6 Ye are not all clean.}\par


They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am {\i he}. And Judas also, who betrayed him, was standing with them.


Again therefore he asked them, {\cf6 Whom seek ye?} And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.


After this Jesus, knowing that all things are now finished, that the scripture might be accomplished, saith, {\cf6 I thirst.}


But there are some of you that believe not.} For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who it was that should betray him.


{\b Thou madest known unto me the ways of life;\par\tab Thou shalt make me full of gladness with thy countenance.}


Forasmuch then as Christ suffered in the flesh, arm ye yourselves also with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
