And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? Because he curseth, and because Jehovah hath said unto him, Curse David; who then shall say, Wherefore hast thou done so?


For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and the wine foameth;\par\tab It is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same:\par\tab Surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.


Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thy hand.


But Jesus answered and said, {\cf6 Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?} They say unto him, We are able.


And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, {\cf6 My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.}


Again a second time he went away, and prayed, saying, {\cf6 My Father, if this cannot pass away, except I drink it, thy will be done.}


For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: but your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.


saying, {\cf6 Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me; nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.}


If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.


Father, I desire that they also whom thou hast given me be with me where I am, that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.


Jesus answered, {\cf6 My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.}


Jesus saith to her, {\cf6 Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended unto the Father: but go unto my brethren, and say to them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.}


(for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds),


in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,


looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of {\i our} faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
