The friendship of Jehovah is with them that fear him;\par\tab And he will show them his covenant.


He that maketh many friends {\i doeth it} to his own destruction;\par\tab But there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.\par


Surely the Lord Jehovah will do nothing, except he reveal his secret unto his servants the prophets.


And he answered and said unto them, {\cf6 Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.


And turning to the disciples, he said privately, {\cf6 Blessed {\i are} the eyes which see the things that ye see:


If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honor.


Verily, verily, I say unto you, a servant is not greater than his lord; neither one that is sent greater than he that sent him.


Remember the word that I said unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also.


I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.


and I made known unto them thy name, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou lovedst me may be in them, and I in them.}\par
