Let them curse it that curse the day,\par\tab Who are ready to rouse up leviathan.


Shall any take him when he is on the watch,\par\tab Or pierce through his nose with a snare?\par


There go the ships;\par\tab There is leviathan, whom thou hast formed to play therein.


Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces;\par\tab Thou gavest him to be food to the people inhabiting the wilderness.


In that day Jehovah with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea.\par
