With {\i God} is wisdom and might;\par\tab He hath counsel and understanding.


The pillars of heaven tremble\par\tab And are astonished at his rebuke.


God will not withdraw his anger;\par\tab The helpers of Rahab do stoop under him.


Jehovah sat {\i as King} at the Flood;\par\tab Yea, Jehovah sitteth as King for ever.


Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength:\par\tab Thou brakest the heads of the sea-monsters in the waters.


For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;


For I am Jehovah thy God, who stirreth up the sea, so that the waves thereof roar: Jehovah of hosts is his name.


Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of Jehovah; awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Is it not thou that didst cut Rahab in pieces, that didst pierce the monster?


Thus saith Jehovah, who giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, who stirreth up the sea, so that the waves thereof roar; Jehovah of hosts is his name:


Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.\par


But he giveth more grace. Wherefore {\i the scripture} saith, {\b God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.}
