Is not God in the height of heaven?\par\tab And behold the height of the stars, how high they are!


Lo, these are but the outskirts of his ways:\par\tab And how small a whisper do we hear of him!\par\tab But the thunder of his power who can understand?\par


I will teach you concerning the hand of God;\par\tab That which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.


Behold, I will answer thee, in this thou art not just;\par\tab For God is greater than man.\par


Why dost thou strive against him,\par\tab For that he giveth not account of any of his matters?


Look unto the heavens, and see;\par\tab And behold the skies, which are higher than thou.


Behold, God is great, and we know him not;\par\tab The number of his years is unsearchable.


{\i Touching} the Almighty, we cannot find him out:\par\tab He is excellent in power;\par\tab And in justice and plenteous righteousness he will not afflict.


God thundereth marvellously with his voice;\par\tab Great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.


Who is this that hideth counsel without knowledge?\par\tab Therefore have I uttered that which I understood not,\par\tab Things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.


Who doeth great things and unsearchable,\par\tab Marvellous things without number:


{\i Such} knowledge is too wonderful for me;\par\tab It is high, I cannot attain unto it.


Great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised;\par\tab And his greatness is unsearchable.


Thy way was in the sea,\par\tab And thy paths in the great waters,\par\tab And thy footsteps were not known.


Who hath ascended up into heaven, and descended?\par\tab Who hath gathered the wind in his fists?\par\tab Who hath bound the waters in his garment?\par\tab Who hath established all the ends of the earth?\par\tab What is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou knowest?\par


He hath made everything beautiful in its time: also he hath set eternity in their heart, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God hath done from the beginning even to the end.


That which is, is far off and exceeding deep; who can find it out?


Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard? The everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary; there is no searching of his understanding.


All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal {\i him}.


O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!


But unto us God revealed {\i them} through the Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.


For {\b who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?} But we have the mind of Christ.\par


Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to preach unto the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
