And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed justice and righteousness unto all his people.


Blessed be Jehovah thy God, who delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because Jehovah loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do justice and righteousness.


And he did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.


And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to Jehovah with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.


And the sons of Josiah: the first-born Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.


And he did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah, and walked in the ways of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.


Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Neco from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.


Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and his good deeds, according to that which is written in the law of Jehovah,


Kindness and truth preserve the king;\par\tab And his throne is upholden by kindness.


To do righteousness and justice\par\tab Is more acceptable to Jehovah than sacrifice.


Take away the wicked {\i from} before the king,\par\tab And his throne shall be established in righteousness.


The king by justice establisheth the land;\par\tab But he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it.


Open thy mouth, judge righteously,\par\tab And minister justice to the poor and needy.\par


Happy art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!


There is nothing better for a man {\i than} that he should eat and drink, and make his soul enjoy good in his labor. This also I saw, that it is from the hand of God.


Say ye of the righteous, that {\i it shall be} well {\i with him}; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.


He shall dwell on high; his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks; his bread shall be given {\i him}; his waters shall be sure.\par


Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.\par


O house of David, thus saith Jehovah, Execute justice in the morning, and deliver him that is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my wrath go forth like fire, and burn so that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.


Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: they shall not lament for him, {\i saying}, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! They shall not lament for him, {\i saying} Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!


Thus saith Jehovah: Execute ye justice and righteousness, and deliver him that is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence, to the sojourner, the fatherless, nor the widow; neither shed innocent blood in this place.


Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.


Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of Jehovah our God, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of Jehovah our God.\par


For if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor;


But give for alms those things which are within; and behold, all things are clean unto you.


And day by day, continuing stedfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,


Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.


And thou shalt keep his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days in the land, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, for ever.
