Before I go whence I shall not return,\par\tab {\i Even} to the land of darkness and of the shadow of death;


Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death,\par\tab Being bound in affliction and iron,


He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death,\par\tab And brake their bonds in sunder.


Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,\par\tab I will fear no evil; for thou art with me;\par\tab Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.


In peace will I both lay me down and sleep;\par\tab For thou, Jehovah, alone makest me dwell in safety.\par


Who is among you that feareth Jehovah, that obeyeth the voice of his servant? he that walketh in darkness, and hath no light, let him trust in the name of Jehovah, and rely upon his God.


The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but Jehovah will be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.


But there shall be no gloom to her that was in anguish. In the former time he brought into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali; but in the latter time hath he made it glorious, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations.


{\i seek him} that maketh the Pleiades and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night; that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth (Jehovah is his name);


{\b The people that sat in darkness\par\tab Saw a great light,\par\tab And to them that sat in the region and shadow of death,\par\tab To them did light spring up.}\par


{\b A light for revelation to the Gentiles,}\par\tab And the glory of thy people Israel.


Jesus therefore said unto them, {\cf6 Yet a little while is the light among you. Walk while ye have the light, that darkness overtake you not: and he that walketh in the darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.


I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me may not abide in the darkness.

Have they not found, have they not divided the spoil? A damsel, two damsels to every man; To Sisera a spoil of dyed garments, A spoil of dyed garments embroidered, Of dyed garments embroidered on both sides, on the necks of the spoil?
