Through God we shall do valiantly;\par\tab For he it is that will tread down our adversaries.\par


For it is a day of discomfiture, and of treading down, and of perplexity, from the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, in the valley of vision; a breaking down of the walls, and a crying to the mountains.

Put ye in the sickle; for the harvest is ripe: come, tread ye; for the winepress is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.\par


Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall see {\i my desire} upon her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.


And they shall be as mighty men, treading down {\i their enemies} in the mire of the streets in the battle; and they shall fight, because Jehovah is with them; and the riders on horses shall be confounded.


And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make, saith Jehovah of hosts.\par
