And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.


The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh come: And unto him shall the obedience of the peoples be.


Verily my house is not so with God; Yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things, and sure: For it is all my salvation, and all my desire, Although he maketh it not to grow.


now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee; for thou, O Lord Jehovah, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.


O Jehovah God, turn not away the face of thine anointed: remember {\i thy} lovingkindnesses to David thy servant.\par


I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes\par\tab For ever, even unto the end.\par

For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my lovingkindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, saith Jehovah that hath mercy on thee.


In overflowing wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting lovingkindness will I have mercy on thee, saith Jehovah thy Redeemer.\par


For I, Jehovah, love justice, I hate robbery with iniquity; and I will give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.


but they shall serve Jehovah their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.


and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.


then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have mercy on them.\par


But Jeremiah said, They shall not deliver thee. Obey, I beseech thee, the voice of Jehovah, in that which I speak unto thee: so it shall be well with thee, and thy soul shall live.


They shall inquire concerning Zion with their faces thitherward, {\i saying}, Come ye, and join yourselves to Jehovah in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten.\par


Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.


And I, Jehovah, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Jehovah, have spoken it.\par


And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil beasts to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.


Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.


Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and mine ordinances; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Jehovah.


For thus saith Jehovah unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live;


Seek Jehovah, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and it devour, and there be none to quench it in Beth-el.


Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.


But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.


While he was yet speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.


My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:


All that which the Father giveth me shall come unto me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.


Now on the last day, the great {\i day} of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, {\cf6 If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.


He that is of God heareth the words of God: for this cause ye hear {\i them} not, because ye are not of God.}


And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he hath spoken on this wise, {\b I will give you the holy and sure {\i blessings} of David.}


For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby.


Now the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, {\i even} our Lord Jesus,
