He maketh the barren woman to keep house,\par\tab {\i And to be} a joyful mother of children.\par\tab Praise ye Jehovah.


We have a little sister,\par\tab And she hath no breasts:\par\tab What shall we do for our sister\par\tab In the day when she shall be spoken for?\par


Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.\par


These shall lift up their voice, they shall shout; for the majesty of Jehovah they cry aloud from the sea.


Sing, O ye heavens, for Jehovah hath done it; shout, ye lower parts of the earth; break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for Jehovah hath redeemed Jacob, and will glorify himself in Israel.\par


Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for Jehovah hath comforted his people, and will have compassion upon his afflicted.\par


For, as for thy waste and thy desolate places, and thy land that hath been destroyed, surely now shalt thou be too strait for the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.


The children of thy bereavement shall yet say in thine ears, The place is too strait for me; give place to me that I may dwell.


Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah; for Jehovah delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.


Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man-child.


Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.
