Son of man, what is the vine-tree more than any tree, the vine-branch which is among the trees of the forest?


Thy mother was like a vine, in thy blood, planted by the waters: it was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters.


Israel is a luxuriant vine, that putteth forth his fruit: according to the abundance of his fruit he hath multiplied his altars; according to the goodness of their land they have made goodly pillars.
