Whoso is wise will give heed to these things;\par\tab And they will consider the lovingkindnesses of Jehovah.


With my lips have I declared\par\tab All the ordinances of thy mouth.


O thou my threshing, and the grain of my floor! that which I have heard from Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.\par


Thou seest many things, but thou observest not; his ears are open, but he heareth not.


I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise unto graven images.


Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.\par


Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.


They are created now, and not from of old; and before this day thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them.


O generation, see ye the word of Jehovah. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? or a land of thick darkness? wherefore say my people, We are broken loose; we will come no more unto thee?


Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and will show thee great things, and difficult, which thou knowest not.


Declare ye among the nations and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is put to shame, Merodach is dismayed; her images are put to shame, her idols are dismayed.


Shall the trumpet be blown in a city, and the people not be afraid? shall evil befall a city, and Jehovah hath not done it?


The voice of Jehovah crieth unto the city, and {\i the man of} wisdom will see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.


What I tell you in the darkness, speak ye in the light; and what ye hear in the ear, proclaim upon the house-tops.


No longer do I call you servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I heard from my Father, I have made known unto you.


But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Jud\'e6a and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.}


but as it is written,\par\tab {\b Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not,\par\tab And {\i which} entered not into the heart of man,\par\tab Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him.}


Write therefore the things which thou sawest, and the things which are, and the things which shall come to pass hereafter;


After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, {\i a voice} as of a trumpet speaking with me, one saying, {\cf6 Come up hither, and I will show thee the things which must come to pass hereafter.}
