Zion shall be redeemed with justice, and her converts with righteousness.


In that day will Jehovah of hosts become a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people;


And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but is shall be for {\i the redeemed}: the wayfaring men, yea fools, shall not err {\i therein}.


Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, that have been borne {\i by me} from their birth, that have been carried from the womb;


Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.


And if there be yet a tenth in it, it also shall in turn be eaten up: as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remaineth, when they are felled; so the holy seed is the stock thereof.\par


Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.


And they shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of Jehovah: and thou shalt be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.\par


And my hand shall be against the prophets that see false visions, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.


This is the law of the house: upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.\par


So shall ye know that I am Jehovah your God, dwelling in Zion my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.\par


But in mount Zion there shall be those that escape, and it shall be holy; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.


For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.


Then they that feared Jehovah spake one with another; and Jehovah hearkened, and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him, for them that feared Jehovah, and that thought upon his name.


Nevertheless in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.}\par


And as the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of God: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.


But what saith the answer of God unto him? {\b I have left} for myself {\b seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal.}


Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.


even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:


Yea, I beseech thee also, true yokefellow, help these women, for they labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow-workers, whose names are in the book of life.\par


Put on therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering;


Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man shall see the Lord:


But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for {\i God's} own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:


And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, {\i every one} whose name hath not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb that hath been slain.


The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, {\i they} whose name hath not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast, how that he was, and is not, and shall come.


And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.\par


and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb's book of life.\par


He that overcometh shall thus be arrayed in white garments; and I will in no wise blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
