Behold, as the eyes of servants {\i look} unto the hand of their master,\par\tab As the eyes of a maid unto the hand of her mistress;\par\tab So our eyes {\i look} unto Jehovah our God,\par\tab Until he have mercy upon us.


Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;\par\tab For in thee do I trust:\par\tab Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk;\par\tab For I lift up my soul unto thee.


Yea, none that wait for thee shall be put to shame:\par\tab They shall be put to shame that deal treacherously without cause.


{\b {\i A Psalm} of David.}\par\par\tab Jehovah is my light and my salvation;\par\tab Whom shall I fear?\par\tab Jehovah is the strength of my life;\par\tab Of whom shall I be afraid?


Let thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, be upon us,\par\tab According as we have hoped in thee.\par


But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah;\par\tab He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved:\par\tab God will help her, and that right early.

Give us help against the adversary;\par\tab For vain is the help of man.

And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and Jehovah overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.


For thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength; therefore thou plantest pleasant plants, and settest it with strange slips.


For thou hast been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.


And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is Jehovah; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.


Jehovah, in trouble have they visited thee; they poured out a prayer {\i when} thy chastening was upon them.


Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Jehovah, have we waited for thee; to thy name, even to thy memorial {\i name}, is the desire of our soul.


And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of contumely; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.


Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him: Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.


My righteousness is near, my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the peoples; the isles shall wait for me, and on mine arm shall they trust.


And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it upheld him.


And I will wait for Jehovah, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.


O thou hope of Israel, the Saviour thereof in the time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a sojourner in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night?


They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.


Take with you words, and return unto Jehovah: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and accept that which is good: so will we render {\i as} bullocks {\i the offering of} our lips.
