The hay is carried, and the tender grass showeth itself,\par\tab And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in.


In the day of thy planting thou hedgest it in, and in the morning thou makest thy seed to blossom; but the harvest fleeth away in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.\par


For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing-floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while, and the time of harvest shall come for her.


Speak, Thus saith Jehovah, The dead bodies of men shall fall as dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman; and none shall gather {\i them}.\par


Also, O Judah, there is a harvest appointed for thee, when I bring back the captivity of my people.\par
