5 who serve {\i that which is} a copy and shadow of the heavenly things, even as Moses is warned {\i of God} when he is about to make the tabernacle: for, {\b See,} saith he, {\b thou shalt make all things according to the pattern that was showed thee in the mount.}

All this, {\i said David}, have I been made to understand in writing from the hand of Jehovah, even all the works of this pattern.\par


And see that thou make them after their pattern, which hath been showed thee in the mount.


According to all that I show thee, the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the furniture thereof, even so shall ye make it.


And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which hath been showed thee in the mount.


Hollow with planks shalt thou make it: as it hath been showed thee in the mount, so shall they make it.


And this was the work of the candlestick, beaten work of gold; unto the base thereof, and unto the flowers thereof, it was beaten work: according unto the pattern which Jehovah had showed Moses, so he made the candlestick.


And being warned {\i of God} in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.\par


Our fathers had the tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness, even as he appointed who spake unto Moses, that he should make it according to the figure that he had seen.

For the law having a shadow of the good {\i things} to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh.

Therefore said we, It shall be, when they so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we shall say, Behold the pattern of the altar of Jehovah, which our fathers made, not for burnt-offering, nor for sacrifice; but it is a witness between us and you.


And after these things I saw, and the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
