And Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of Jehovah, the Everlasting God.


But the lovingkindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,\par\tab And his righteousness unto children's children;


Before the mountains were brought forth,\par\tab Or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,\par\tab Even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.


For a thousand years in thy sight\par\tab Are but as yesterday when it is past,\par\tab And as a watch in the night.


And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.


Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, Jehovah, the first, and with the last, I am he.


Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last; and besides me there is no God.


For I, Jehovah, change not; therefore ye, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.\par


For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, {\i even} by me and Silvanus and Timothy, was not yea and nay, but in him is yea.


For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.


{\b And as a mantle shalt thou roll them up,\par\tab As a garment, and they shall be changed:\par\tab But thou art the same,\par\tab And thy years shall not fail.}


Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.


to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, {\i be} glory, majesty, dominion and power, before all time, and now, and for evermore. Amen.\par
