And though thy beginning was small,\par\tab Yet thy latter end would greatly increase.\par


He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing seed for sowing,\par\tab Shall doubtless come again with joy, bringing his sheaves {\i with him}.


Praise ye Jehovah;\par\tab For it is good to sing praises unto our God;\par\tab For it is pleasant, {\i and} praise is comely.


Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith Jehovah, and thy Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.


The little one shall become a thousand, and the small one a strong nation; I, Jehovah, will hasten it in its time.\par


In those days, and in that time, saith Jehovah, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together; they shall go on their way weeping, and shall seek Jehovah their God.


Who is left among you that saw this house in its former glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes as nothing?


For who hath despised the day of small things? for these seven shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel; {\i these are} the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro through the whole earth.\par
