And he said, Lo, it is yet high day, neither is it time that the cattle should be gathered together: water ye the sheep, and go and feed them.


They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil;\par\tab And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.


Give a portion to seven, yea, even unto eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.


Remember also thy Creator in the days of thy youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;


Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do {\i it} with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, whither thou goest.\par


The king answered and said, I know of a certainty that ye would gain time, because ye see the thing is gone from me.


Therefore he that is prudent shall keep silence in such a time; for it is an evil time.\par


In like manner he that {\i received} the two gained other two.


Jesus therefore said unto them, {\cf6 Yet a little while is the light among you. Walk while ye have the light, that darkness overtake you not: and he that walketh in the darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.


And this, knowing the season, that already it is time for you to awake out of sleep: for now is salvation nearer to us than when we {\i first} believed.


I think therefore that this is good by reason of the distress that is upon us, {\i namely}, that it is good for a man to be as he is.


who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father:


So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith.\par


Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.


and having shod {\b your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace};


Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
