And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto Jehovah, I have sinned greatly in that which I have done: but now, O Jehovah, put away, I beseech thee, the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.


But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.\par


So brutish was I, and ignorant;\par\tab I was {\i as} a beast before thee.


And in all things that I have said unto you take ye heed: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.


The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way;\par\tab But the folly of fools is deceit.


Folly is joy to him that is void of wisdom;\par\tab But a man of understanding maketh straight his going.


Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.


And five of them were foolish, and five were wise.


So when Pilate saw that he prevailed nothing, but rather that a tumult was arising, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of this blood; see ye {\i to it}.

And he said unto them, {\cf6 O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!


Brethren, be not children in mind: yet in malice be ye babes, but in mind be men.


O foolish Galatians, who did bewitch you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly set forth crucified?


Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now perfected in the flesh?


and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.\par


Nevertheless do ye also severally love each one his own wife even as himself; and {\i let} the wife {\i see} that she fear her husband.\par


Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you or be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;


For this cause we also, since the day we heard {\i it}, do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,


Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.


See that none render unto any one evil for evil; but always follow after that which is good, one toward another, and toward all.


But they that are minded to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction and perdition.


See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned {\i them} on earth, much more {\i shall not} we {\i escape} who turn away from him that {\i warneth} from heaven:


Who is wise and understanding among you? let him show by his good life his works in meekness of wisdom.


Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from a pure heart fervently:


And I fell down before his feet to worship him. And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren that hold the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.\par
