And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem unto himself for a people, and to make him a name, and to do great things for you, and terrible things for thy land, before thy people, whom thou redeemedst to thee out of Egypt, from the nations and their gods?


{\b For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.}\par\par\tab Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;


And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts;\par\tab And I will declare thy greatness.


And he hath lifted up the horn of his people,\par\tab The praise of all his saints;\par\tab Even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him.\par\tab Praise ye Jehovah.


But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.


Jehovah is my strength and song, And he is become my salvation: This is my God, and I will praise him; My father's God, and I will exalt him.


And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been wrought in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of Jehovah; for it is a terrible thing that I do with thee.


The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but Jehovah will be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.


When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains quaked at thy presence.


Heal me, O Jehovah, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.


{\b A light for revelation to the Gentiles,}\par\tab And the glory of thy people Israel.


and Jehovah drove out from before us all the peoples, even the Amorites that dwelt in the land: therefore we also will serve Jehovah; for he is our God.


And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof {\i is} the Lamb.


Only fear Jehovah, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider how great things he hath done for you.
