and we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as thou shalt need; and we will bring it to thee in floats by sea to Joppa; and thou shalt carry it up to Jerusalem.\par


They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and food, and drink, and oil, unto them of Sidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar-trees from Lebanon to the sea, unto Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.\par


{\i As} a loving hind and a pleasant doe,\par\tab Let her breasts satisfy thee at all times;\par\tab And be thou ravished always with her love.

And as Lydda was nigh unto Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men unto him, entreating him, Delay not to come on unto us.


And it became known throughout all Joppa: and many believed on the Lord.


For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.\par


being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.\par


to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;


for indeed ye do it toward all the brethren that are in all Macedonia. But we exhort you, brethren, that ye abound more and more;


well reported of for good works; if she hath brought up children, if she hath used hospitality to strangers, if she hath washed the saints' feet, if she hath relieved the afflicted, if she hath diligently followed every good work.


who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.\par


in all things showing thyself an ensample of good works; in thy doctrine {\i showing} uncorruptness, gravity,


Faithful is the saying, and concerning these things I desire that thou affirm confidently, to the end that they who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men:


make you perfect in every good thing to do his will, working in us that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom {\i be} the glory for ever and ever. Amen.\par


Pure religion and undefiled before {\i our} God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, {\i and} to keep oneself unspotted from the world.\par
