Now {\i there was} a certain man in C\'e6sarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of the band called the Italian {\i band},


And on the morrow they entered into C\'e6sarea. And Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his kinsmen and his near friends.


And behold, forthwith three men stood before the house in which we were, having been sent from C\'e6sarea unto me.


And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the guards, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Jud\'e6a to C\'e6sarea, and tarried there.\par


And when he had landed at C\'e6sarea, he went up and saluted the church, and went down to Antioch.


And there went with us also {\i certain} of the disciples from C\'e6sarea, bringing {\i with them} one Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we should lodge.\par


And on the morrow we departed, and came unto C\'e6sarea: and entering into the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, we abode with him.


And he called unto him two of the centurions, and said, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go as far as C\'e6sarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night:


and they, when they came to C\'e6sarea and delivered the letter to the governor, presented Paul also before him.


Festus therefore, having come into the province, after three days went up to Jerusalem from C\'e6sarea.


Now when certain days were passed, Agrippa the King and Bernice arrived at C\'e6sarea, and saluted Festus.


Howbeit Festus answered, that Paul was kept in charge at C\'e6sarea, and that he himself was about to depart {\i thither} shortly.


And when he had tarried among them not more than eight or ten days, he went down unto C\'e6sarea; and on the morrow he sat on the judgment-seat, and commanded Paul to be brought.


They therefore, when they had testified and spoken the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.\par


And when the brethren knew it, they brought him down to C\'e6sarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.\par


in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about even unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ;


There was none of the Anakim left in the land of the children of Israel: only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, did some remain.


Now the Philistines had taken the ark of God, and they brought it from Eben-ezer unto Ashdod.
