And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Jehovah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.\par


Nor for your sake do I {\i this}, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.


But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.\par


Seventy weeks are decreed upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.


In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.


And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins.


and that repentance unto remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.


On the morrow he seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world!


To him bear all the prophets witness, that through his name every one that believeth on him shall receive remission of sins.\par


But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spake forth unto them, {\i saying}, Ye men of Jud\'e6a, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and give ear unto my words.


And Peter {\i said} unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.


Be it known therefore unto you, that this salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles: they will also hear.\par


be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, {\i even} in him doth this man stand here before you whole.


Him did God exalt with his right hand {\i to be} a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins.


in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,


and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also in Christ forgave you.\par

But now hath he obtained a ministry the more excellent, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been enacted upon better promises.


And according to the law, I may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.\par
