And unto man he said,\par\tab Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom;\par\tab And to depart from evil is understanding.\par


The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom;\par\tab A good understanding have all they that do {\i his commandments}:\par\tab His praise endureth for ever.


The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever:\par\tab The ordinances of Jehovah are true, {\i and} righteous altogether.


Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him,\par\tab That glory may dwell in our land.


The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge;\par\tab {\i But} the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.


By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for;\par\tab And by the fear of Jehovah men depart from evil.


Then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah,\par\tab And find the knowledge of God.


Be not wise in thine own eyes;\par\tab Fear Jehovah, and depart from evil:


{\i This is} the end of the matter; all hath been heard: Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole {\i duty} of man.


As for the sacrifices of mine offerings, they sacrifice flesh and eat it; but Jehovah accepteth them not: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins; they shall return to Egypt.


And he came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord {\i is} with thee.


a devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, who gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.


and he said unto them, Ye yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to join himself or come unto one of another nation; and {\i yet} unto me hath God showed that I should not call any man common or unclean:


and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.


So the church throughout all Jud\'e6a and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified; and, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was multiplied.\par


for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified:


(for when Gentiles that have not the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are the law unto themselves;


even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction;


For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit.


Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.\par


There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for ye all are one {\i man} in Christ Jesus.


to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:


subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ.\par


for we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh:


which is come unto you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as {\i it doth} in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;


where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, bondman, freeman; but Christ is all, and in all.\par


If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one also that doeth righteousness is begotten of him.\par
