And when he had considered {\i the thing}, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together and were praying.


And Barnabas and Saul returned to Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministration, taking with them John whose surname was Mark.\par


And Barnabas was minded to take with them John also, who was called Mark.


And there arose a sharp contention, so that they parted asunder one from the other, and Barnabas took Mark with him, and sailed away unto Cyprus;


And when he had seen the vision, straightway we sought to go forth into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.\par


Aristarchus my fellow-prisoner saluteth you, and Mark, the cousin of Barnabas (touching whom ye received commandments; if he come unto you, receive him),


Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas salute you.


This thou knowest, that all that are in Asia turned away from me; of whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.


If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, meet for the master's use, prepared unto every good work.


{\i and so do} Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-workers.\par


She that is in Babylon, elect together with {\i you}, saluteth you; and {\i so doth} Mark my son.
