Thou wilt keep {\i him} in perfect peace, {\i whose} mind {\i is} stayed {\i on thee}; because he trusteth in thee.


And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart trembled, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest tremble with the wind.\par


If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood do lie, {\i saying}, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.\par


For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.


And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not troubled: {\i these things} must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.


In your patience ye shall win your souls.\par


And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately.}\par


{\cf6 Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me.


Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.


who shall also confirm you unto the end, {\i that ye be} unreproveable in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.


and the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets;


I think therefore that this is good by reason of the distress that is upon us, {\i namely}, that it is good for a man to be as he is.


Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience.


that no man be moved by these afflictions; for yourselves know that hereunto we are appointed.


For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep.


For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.


So then, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye were taught, whether by word, or by epistle of ours.\par


The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.


And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his sight, wherewith he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshipped his image: they two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burneth with brimstone:
