And mount Sinai, the whole of it, smoked, because Jehovah descended upon it in fire; and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.


And the angel of Jehovah appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.


He entereth into peace; they rest in their beds, each one that walketh in his uprightness.\par


For, behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and his chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire.


As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches: {\i the fire} went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.


I beheld till thrones were placed, and one that was ancient of days did sit: his raiment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool; his throne was fiery flames, {\i and} the wheels thereof burning fire.


For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and {\b then shall he render unto every man according to his deeds.}


Verily I say unto you, There are some of them that stand here, who shall in no wise taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.}\par


But when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory:


Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels:


Jesus saith unto him, {\cf6 Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Henceforth ye shall see {\b the Son of man sitting at the right hand of Power,} and {\b coming on the clouds of heaven.}}


And Jesus said, {\cf6 I am: and ye shall see {\b the Son of man sitting at the right hand of Power,} and {\b coming with the clouds of heaven.}}


For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man also shall be ashamed of him, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.}


But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things: but now here he is comforted, and thou art in anguish.


after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.


All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.


And he saith unto him, {\cf6 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye shall see the heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.}\par


who also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye looking into heaven? this Jesus, who was received up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye beheld him going into heaven.


Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;


and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with {\i him}, that we may be also glorified with {\i him}.\par


each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it is.


For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;


Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.\par


for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;


to the end he may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.\par


if we endure, we shall also reign with him: if we shall deny him, he also will deny us:


looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;


but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and {\b a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.}


for our God is a consuming fire.\par


Let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.


Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.


There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God.


so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.\par


who is on the right hand of God, having gone into heaven; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.\par


but the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.\par


Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.


{\b Behold, he cometh with the clouds}; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.\par


he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:


And I heard a voice from heaven saying, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; for their works follow with them.\par


And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.


and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: for the first things are passed away.


{\cf6 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star.}\par


And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass.


And he saith unto me, See thou do it not: I am a fellow-servant with thee and with thy brethren the prophets, and with them that keep the words of this book: worship God.\par


And there was given them to each one a white robe; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little time, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, who should be killed even as they were, should have fulfilled {\i their course}.\par
