Let it be unto him as the raiment wherewith he covereth himself,\par\tab And for the girdle wherewith he is girded continually.


My lovingkindness, and my fortress,\par\tab My high tower, and my deliverer;\par\tab My shield, and he in whom I take refuge;\par\tab Who subdueth my people under me.


The God that girdeth me with strength,\par\tab And maketh my way perfect?


For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle:\par\tab Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.


Through thee will we push down our adversaries:\par\tab Through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.


I am Jehovah, and there is none else; besides me there is no God. I will gird thee, though thou hast not known me;


And the sons of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee The city of Jehovah, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.\par
