And Azariah the chief priest, of the house of Zadok, answered him and said, Since {\i the people} began to bring the oblations into the house of Jehovah, we have eaten and had enough, and have left plenty: for Jehovah hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.\par


Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? or is thine eye evil, because I am good?


In like manner he that {\i received} the two gained other two.


or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, {\i let him do it} with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness.\par


that in everything ye were enriched in him, in all utterance and all knowledge;


ye also helping together on our behalf by your supplication; that, for the gift bestowed upon us by means of many, thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf.\par


For all things {\i are} for your sakes, that the grace, being multiplied through the many, may cause the thanksgiving to abound unto the glory of God.\par


But thanks be to God, who putteth the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.


and not only so, but who was also appointed by the churches to travel with us in {\i the matter of} this grace, which is ministered by us to the glory of the Lord, and {\i to show} our readiness:


For the ministration of this service not only filleth up the measure of the wants of the saints, but aboundeth also through many thanksgivings unto God;
