When they cast {\i thee} down, thou shalt say, {\i There is} lifting up;\par\tab And the humble person he will save.


Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth up:\par\tab Yet they have not prevailed against me.

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah; for Jehovah delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.


Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, Jehovah will be a light unto me.


For though the fig-tree shall not flourish,\par\tab Neither shall fruit be in the vines;\par\tab The labor of the olive shall fail,\par\tab And the fields shall yield no food;\par\tab The flock shall be cut off from the fold,\par\tab And there shall be no herd in the stalls:


Remember the word that I said unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also.


Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?


Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, {\i even} God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;


Yea, and all that would live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.


Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, {\b I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.}
