And thou didst establish to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever; and thou, Jehovah, becamest their God.


And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them that were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, {\i Thou art} my God.\par


But I say, Did Israel not know? First Moses saith,\par\tab {\b I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation,\par\tab With a nation void of understanding will I anger you.}


For as ye in time past were disobedient to God, but now have obtained mercy by their disobedience,


Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: but I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be trustworthy.


though I was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: howbeit I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief;


Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help {\i us} in time of need.\par
