Jehovah rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.


And Jehovah will return his blood upon his own head, because he fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, and my father David knew it not, to wit, Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.


So shall their blood return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but unto David, and unto his seed, and unto his house, and unto his throne, shall there be peace for ever from Jehovah.


but when {\i the matter} came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he had devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.\par


With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful;\par\tab With the perfect man thou wilt show thyself perfect;


Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous:\par\tab For the righteous God trieth the minds and hearts.


Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.


keeping lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.


Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way,\par\tab And be filled with their own devices.


He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the righteous,\par\tab Both of them alike are an abomination to Jehovah.


In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.\par


hath given forth upon interest, and hath taken increase; shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.\par


The soul that sinneth, it shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.\par


Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord Jehovah. Return ye, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.


And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way upon their head.


And when he hath made her drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she be defiled, and have committed a trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her and become bitter, and her body shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.


for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified:


And I was alive apart from the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died;


If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, and the judges judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.


If one man sin against another, God shall judge him; but if a man sin against Jehovah, who shall entreat for him? Notwithstanding, they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because Jehovah was minded to slay them.
