And all Israel buried him, and mourned for him, according to the word of Jehovah, which he spake by his servant Ahijah the prophet.


And when he humbled himself, the wrath of Jehovah turned from him, so as not to destroy him altogether: and moreover in Judah there were good things {\i found}.\par


Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast put away the Asheroth out of the land, and hast set thy heart to seek God.\par


If ye say, How we will persecute him!\par\tab And that the root of the matter is found in me;


Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him; but weep sore for him that goeth away; for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.


Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: they shall not lament for him, {\i saying}, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! They shall not lament for him, {\i saying} Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!


And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they wept for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.
