Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean:\par\tab Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.


There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes,\par\tab And yet are not washed from their filthiness.


Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;


In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.\par


He shall see of the travail of his soul, {\i and} shall be satisfied: by the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many; and he shall bear their iniquities.


O Jerusalem, wash thy heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thine evil thoughts lodge within thee?


And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.


And if the priest shall come in, and look, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plastered; then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.


And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.


and to them he said, Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you.


I say unto you, This man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled; but he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.}\par


Jesus saith to him, {\cf6 He that is bathed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.}


Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, {\cf6 If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.}


and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.


And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his name.


to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.}


being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:


But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.


Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;


Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from the wrath {\i of God} through him.


and whom he foreordained, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.\par


Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth;


unto the church of God which is at Corinth, {\i even} them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called {\i to be} saints, with all that call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, their {\i Lord} and ours:


But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who was made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption:


Ye know that when ye were Gentiles {\i ye were} led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might be led.


yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.


Now that no man is justified by the law before God, is evident: for, {\b The righteous shall live by faith};


So that the law is become our tutor {\i to bring us} unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.


And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand unto Abraham, {\i saying}, {\b In thee shall all the nations be blessed.}


that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,


for ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light


But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, for that God chose you as firstfruits unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:


let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,


of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?


For both he that sanctifieth and they that are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,


according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.\par


Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from a pure heart fervently:


which also after a true likeness doth now save you, {\i even} baptism, not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the interrogation of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ;


I write unto you, {\i my} little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.


and from Jesus Christ, {\i who is} the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood;


And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
