Psalm 127 - Easy To Read Version

¹ If it is not the Lord that builds a house,\par the builder is wasting his time.\par If it is not the Lord that watches over a city,\par the guards are wasting their time.\par

² It is a waste of time\par to get up early and stay up late,\par trying to make a living.\par God cares for the people he loves,\par even while they are sleeping.\par

³ Children are a gift {\cf2\super [612]} from the Lord.\par They are a reward from a mother’s body.\par

⁴ A young man’s sons are like the arrows\par in a soldier’s arrow bag.\par

⁵ A man that fills his arrow bag with sons\par will be very happy.\par
