¹ God, I look up and pray to you.\par You sit as king in heaven.\par

² Slaves depend on their masters\par for the things they need.\par

³ In the same way,\par we depend on the Lord our God.\par We wait for God to show mercy to us.\par

⁴ Lord, be merciful to us,\par because we have been insulted\par much too long.\par
