¹ I look up to the hills \{for help\}.\par But where will my help really come from?\par

² My help will come from the Lord,\par the Creator of heaven and earth.\par

³ God will not let you fall.\par Your Protector will not fall asleep.\par

⁴ Israel’s Protector does not become sleepy.\par God never sleeps.\par

⁵ The Lord is your Protector.\par He protects you with his great power.\par

⁶ The sun can’t hurt you during the day.\par And the moon can’t hurt you at night.\par

⁷ The Lord will protect you\par from every danger.\par The Lord will protect your soul.\par
