Psalm 11 - Easy To Read Version

I trust the Lord.\par So why did you tell me \{to run and hide\}?\par \{You told me,\}\par “Fly like a bird to your mountain!”\par

\{Bad people are like a hunter\}\par They hide in the dark.\par They pull back on the bowstring.\par They aim their arrows\par and shoot straight into the hearts\par of good, honest people.\par

What would happen if they destroyed\par all that is good? {\cf2\super [59]} \par What would good people do then?\par

The Lord is in his holy palace. {\cf2\super [60]} \par The Lord sits on his throne {\cf2\super [61]} in heaven.\par And he sees everything that happens.\par The Lord watches people closely\par to see if they are good or bad.\par

The Lord searches for good people,\par but he rejects {\cf2\super [62]} cruel, evil people.\par

He will make hot coals and burning\par sulphur fall like rain on those bad people.\par Those bad people will get nothing but\par a hot, burning wind. {\cf2\super [63]} \par

But the Lord is good.\par And he loves people doing good things.\par Good people will \{be with him\}\par and see his face.\par
