¹ God, I am ready, heart and soul,\par to sing and play songs of praise.\par

² Harps and lyres, {\cf2\super [567]} let’s wake up the sun! {\cf2\super [568]} \par

³ Lord, we will praise you among the nations.\par We will praise you among other people.\par

⁴ Lord, your love is higher\par than the skies.\par Your faithfulness is higher\par than the highest clouds.\par

⁵ God, rise above the heavens!\par Let all the world see your glory.\par

⁶ God, do this to save your friends.\par Answer my prayer\par and use your great power to save.\par

⁷ God spoke in his temple: {\cf2\super [569]} \par “I will win the war\par and be happy about the victory!\par \{I will divide this land among my people.\}\par I will give them Shechem.\par I will give them Succoth Valley.\par

⁸ Gilead and Manasseh will be mine.\par Ephraim will be my helmet.\par Judah will be my scepter. {\cf2\super [570]} \par

⁹ Moab will be a bowl for washing my feet.\par Edom will be a slave to carry my sandals.\par I \{will defeat\} the Philistines\par and shout about the victory.”\par

¹⁰ Who will lead me into the enemy fortress?\par Who will lead me to fight against Edom?\par

¹¹ God, \{only you can help me do these things\}.\par But you left us!\par You did not go with our army!\par

¹² God, please help us defeat our enemy!\par People can’t help us!\par

¹³ Only God can make us strong.\par God can defeat our enemies!\par
