Psalm 53 - American Standard Version 2015

{\b For the Chief Musician; set to Mahalath. Maschil of David.}\par\par\tab The fool hath said in his heart,\par\tab There is no God.\par\tab Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity;\par\tab There is none that doeth good.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men,\par\tab To see if there were any that did understand,\par\tab That did seek after God.

Every one of them is gone back; they are together become filthy;\par\tab There is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge,\par\tab Who eat up my people {\i as} they eat bread,\par\tab And call not upon God?

There were they in great fear, where no fear was;\par\tab For God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee:\par\tab Thou hast put them to shame, because God hath rejected them.

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion!\par\tab When God bringeth back the captivity of his people,\par\tab Then shall Jacob rejoice, {\i and} Israel shall be glad.\par
