She arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me while your servant slept. She put him by her breast and laid her dead child by my breast.

There is no darkness, nor thick gloom, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.


They say, “YHWH will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.”


Woe to those who deeply hide their counsel from YHWH, and whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us?” and “Who knows us?”


Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?” says YHWH. “Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says YHWH.
