I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel did so to the Levites. According to all that YHWH commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them.
He struck of the men of Beth Shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of YHWH, he struck fifty thousand seventy of the men. Then the people mourned, because YHWH had struck the people with a great slaughter.
