When Jeremiah had finished speaking all that YHWH had commanded him to speak to all the people, the priests and the prophets and all the people seized him, saying, “You must die-die!


But the governor answered them, “Which of the two do y’all want me to release to y’all?” They said, “Barabbas!”


But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release Barabbas to them instead.


Then they all shouted back, “Not this man, but Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.


Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, attempting to persuade Jews and Greeks.
