Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people gathered together in the court of the high priest, whose name was Caiaphas.
Reach an agreement quickly with your adversary while you’re on the way with him, or he will deliver you to the judge, and the judge you to the officer, and you will be thrown into prison.
They seized him, led him away, and brought him into the house of the high priest. But Peter was following at a distance.
Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. So they said to him, “You aren’t also one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it and said, “I am not.”
