What enters into the mouth doesn’t defile a human, but what comes out of the mouth, that defiles the human.”


But he answered, “Every plant my heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.


But so that we don’t offend them, go to the sea and throw out a hook. Take up the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth, you will find a four-drachma coin. Take that, and give it to them for me and you.”


We don’t give anyone anything that would cause stumbling, so that the deacon-work will not be discredited.


We did not give in to their subjection, not even for an hour, so that the truth of the gospel might continue with y’all.


But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, and without hypocrisy.
