“You afflicted one, tossed with storms and not comforted, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.


Suddenly, a violent storm arose on the sea, so that the waves covered the boat. But Jesus was asleep.


He saw them straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. About the fourth watch of the night, he came to them, walking on the sea. He intended to pass by them,


A strong wind was blowing, and the sea was getting rough.


For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith, and a considerable number of people were added to the Lord.


We put out to sea from there and sailed under the shelter of Cyprus, because the winds were against us.
