Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is with people who take advice.


Do you seek great things for yourself? Don’t seek them. For, I am about to bring disaster on all flesh,’ says YHWH, ‘but I will let you escape with your life wherever you go.’”


But the greatest among y’all will be y’all’s deacon.


He took a little child whom he placed in the middle of them. Then embracing the child, he said to them,


I tell y’all, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other. For everyone who exalts themself will be humbled, but the one who humbles themself will be exalted.”


But it is not to be like that with y’all. Rather, the greatest among y’all should become like the youngest, and one leader like a servant.


But ʜᴇ gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
