I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
In that day, the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of obscurity and out of darkness.
As they went out, a man who was demon possessed and could not talk was brought to him.
The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching—one with authority? For he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him!”
Immediately, he got up, picked up the mat, and went out in front of them all. They were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”
They were massively afraid and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
Immediately the girl rose up and began walking around, for she was twelve years old. And immediately, they were massively astonished.
He got into the boat with them, and the wind ceased. They were completely astonished,
Jesus commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, the more widely they proclaimed it.
In those days, again there was a very great crowd, and they had nothing to eat. Jesus called his disciples and said to them,
Surely we are punished justly, getting what we deserve for our actions, but this man has done nothing wrong.”
When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they raised their voices saying in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in human form!”
